Yesterday I was out running errands in my new car, a car that has a CD player that actually works. It works well - it even tells me the title of the track that's currently playing, in case I need to know. That is, it tells me the title of the track if the CD is new enough to have that information encoded on it. Yesterday I had pulled out a late 1980's disc and found that the display said "NO TITLE." Wow. Guess I hadn't played that one in awhile!
You probably know me. If you don't, it's worth a mention that I am a lifelong audiophile with a sizable collection of music. My experience in the car yesterday gave me an idea - why not bring out every album in my collection, good or not, and talk about it? I spend so much time thinking about music anyway, and I'm sure all of my friends on Facebook are thoroughly confused by the random assortment of videos and songs that I post on my wall on a regular basis. After all, every album I have is a conversation waiting to happen.
So, there you go. Owl in Stereo. One album per week (at least). Let's see how long I can keep this going.
